Privacy policy

This site, outrider.club, is run by Shulin Chen, a business broker associate with BTI Group (Business Team) (CA DRE #02114907). This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

What you type into our forms: your name, email, and (if you choose) phone number and LinkedIn; details about a business you own (industry, city, years, revenue and profit ranges, timeline, and optionally its name); or details about you as a buyer (investable cash range, background, interests, timeline, and whether you're a US citizen or national, which affects SBA loan eligibility). We also record the page you came from and campaign tags in the link, and your browser type. To see which pages help people, the site counts steps like opening a form or booking a call, and uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure visits. Google's advertising features are turned off. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking cookies.

Why

To prepare your opinion of value, match buyers and businesses, contact you about your inquiry, and send the notes you signed up for. We don't sell your information.

Who sees it

Shulin Chen and, for brokerage matters, BTI Group (Business Team). Service providers who host this site and our email and scheduling tools process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting, and Turnstile spam protection on our forms), Attio (our CRM), Resend and Instantly (email), ManyChat (Instagram messages), and Cal.com (scheduling, which sets its own cookies once you open it). Our host keeps short-lived security logs, such as IP addresses, to protect the forms from abuse. A seller's identity is never shared with a buyer without the seller's permission and a signed NDA.

Calls and texts

We only text you if you ticked the consent box. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Consent is never a condition of buying anything.

How long we keep it

As long as we're in touch, and up to three years after our last contact, unless the law requires longer brokerage records.

Your choices

Email shulin@outrider.club to see, correct, or delete your information, or to unsubscribe. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act where it applies. Whether you're a US citizen or national is asked only to judge SBA loan eligibility; it is optional and never shared with sellers.

Do Not Track and changes

We don't use advertising cookies or track you across other sites for ads. The site doesn't currently change its behavior when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal; the opt-out above works regardless. This site isn't directed to children under 16. If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and, for material changes, email people we're in touch with.
